It is with great sadness the family of Tara Dean announces her passing.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Carol Venable Dean and is survived by her father; James Dean, 2 sisters; Deborah Dean, and Janelle Dickey, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Her father; James worked in the logging industry so as a child she enjoyed summers in the mountains, hunting wild strawberries, and Indian artifacts, After graduating high school in 1981 she worked for various area wineries. She particularly liked vineyard testing and checking the health and growth of the vines. While health issues kept her mostly at home during the latter part of her life, her love of animals provided a series of dogs with love and a home. She was very fond of her nieces and nephew, and kept photo albums chronicling their lives. Services will be private and interment to follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
